Our pianosalon is a brand store of the family business PETROF, which has been producing top-quality grand and upright pianos in Hradec Králové since 1864. You can find us in the Schlögl House of Musical Instruments in Jungmann’s Square (Jungmannovo náměstí) in the very heart of Prague. We have piano craftsmanship in our blood, so that we can provide to you the sale of both brand new and older upright pianos, expert advice, tuning, technical service or a loan of one of our instruments. We also offer the option of purchasing in installments.

Acoustic pianos
Their high-quality craftsmanship and a romantic, round tone have made PETROF pianos famous worldwide. We are proud of the fact that we can offer these instruments to you. The portfolio of PETROF pianos is considerably wide. Apart from composing standard models, our exceptionally skillful artisans are ready to build a grand or upright piano in a perfect accordance with your wishes. We are here for everybody who can appreciate the quality of European materials guaranteed by the certification European Excellence (EEX) and also the handiness of Czech hands thanks to which these sources are being transformed into first-class instruments.
Besides new instruments, older pianos are also included in our offer. After an intervention of our professionals, they can make you happy for many more years.
Digital pianos
We are producers of acoustic pianos, but we expand our offer by digital pianos of various brands. These can become a welcome compromise for many customers. Their lower weight and more compact dimensions enabling easier transport are common reasons why some of our customers decide for this very type of piano. At the same time, digital pianos are popular for their practicality and variability: unlike classic pianos, they offer a wide selection of recording technologies, accompanying sounds or training programs for the players.
Therefore, you can obtain an attractive and dynamic musical instrument which can be used in various creative ways and which will ensure you a unique musical experience.
Hire and transport of instruments
We offer rental of a quality and perfectly prepared instrument that will greatly contribute to the success of your concert or other important event. Part of the rental fee is a transport of the instrument and its professional tuning. We provide full service for organizers of cultural events. We have many years of experience in renting pianos, you can see our instruments at various music festivals of international significance.
Piano tuning and service
Piano tuning means adjustment of the tension of each single string so that it can vibrate in appropriate frequences. Piano is a firmly tuned instrument, which means that it is not possible to change the tuning during playing. All pianos need regular tuning – the frequency of this need depends on the amount of climatic changes, age and state of the instrument and also on the way it is used.

Repairs and renovations
